"According to the decision of the contact group of July 22, 2020, on July 26, 2020, an order was issued by the Commander of the Joint Forces on the observance of a full and comprehensive ceasefire," the message says.
As noted, the order "corresponds to the valid measures that were determined by the contact group and entered into force from 00:00 hours on July 27, 2020".
The comprehensive ceasefire in southeastern Ukraine provides for a complete ban on the use of any types of weapons, including drones, as well as offensive and reconnaissance operations. The agreements were reached within the framework of the TCG.
Earlier, the presidents of Russia and Ukraine Vladimir Putin and Vladimir Zelensky held a telephone conversation, during which they discussed the internal Ukrainian crisis.
