Behind Juve, titled Sunday for the 9th time in a row, is the traffic jam between Inter Milan, Atalanta Bergamo and Lazio Rome, who continue to fight for second place Tuesday and Wednesday in the 37th Serie A matchday.

The suspense is total: a single point separates, two days from the end of the season, Inter (2nd, 76 pts), Atalanta (3rd, 75 pts) and Lazio (4th, 75 pts). The three clubs are however guaranteed to finish between 2nd and 4th places, qualifying in the Champions League.

It is the Bergamasques, by far the best attack in the Italian league with 96 goals scored, who will open the ball on Tuesday (7:30 p.m.) on the lawn of Parma, 11th and who has nothing more to play.

Unbeaten since the resumption of the championship in mid-June after a three-month hiatus due to the coronavirus pandemic, Atalanta seems however to start to tire, with two draws in its last three meetings.

Also Tuesday (9.45 p.m.), Inter Milan receives Naples (7th), winner of the Italian Cup and therefore already qualified for the next Europa League.

The Interists have their destiny in hand, since two successes would ensure them to finish second ... but this is also the case of Atalanta, the last day reserving Sunday for the tifosis a clash between Bergamasques and Milanese, which could well be a final for the place of dolphin.

Last club of the trio in the fight, Lazio seems to see a more affordable match coming with the reception of Brescia, 19th and already relegated. Mistrust, however: in the first leg, the Romans, although in numerical superiority for 50 minutes, had to wait for added time to win.

Another open question: titled Sunday, will Juventus fully play the game, she who has the Champions League in sight? Maurizio Sarri's men, who go to Cagliari on Wednesday (9.45 p.m.), may well already have the lead in their round of 16 return from C1, on August 7 against Lyon, during which they will have to recover a deficit after their defeat 1- 0 on the go.

At the bottom of the standings, a slight suspense still lies in the identity of the third relegated, who will accompany Brescia and SPAL in Serie B next season. Lecce (18th, 32 pts) is not officially condemned, but they would need two exploits and poor performances from Genoa (17th, 36 pts) to get by. For this 37th day, Lecce went to the lawn of Udinese (13th), Genoa in Sassuolo (8th).
