At present, Inner Mongolia has purchased accident insurance for the elderly over 60 years old and the disabled over 60 years old. In order to further reduce the incidence of poverty and return to poverty due to accidental injuries of the disabled, Inner Mongolia promotes the effective connection of the accident insurance program for the disabled and the accident insurance program for the elderly, and expands the coverage of accidental injury insurance for the disabled to all licensed disabled persons.
In 2020, Inner Mongolia will expand the coverage of persons covered by accidental injury insurance for persons with disabilities from the first- and second-level severely disabled persons in previous years to all licensed disabled persons aged 0-59. "In this way, it is complementary to the inclusion of the disabled persons over 60 years old in the autonomous region's elderly accidental injury insurance project and realizes full coverage of accidental injury insurance for the disabled."
