According to KRAV's echo ranking, based on figures from the Swedish Board of Agriculture, Blekinge County is the worst in Sweden in terms of KRAV-labeled agriculture. Only 9 percent of the animals in Blekinge were organically kept in 2019 and only 8 percent of the agricultural land was used for organic farming and grazing.

- I will not say that I am completely anti but I do not believe in it fully, says farmer Peter Hansson. He grows potatoes, cereals, oilseed rape and hay in a conventional way.

Want to see more densely populated counties

One of those who goes against the flow and invests in organic farming is Per Brunberg. He believes that a more densely populated county would make more people invest in organic farming.

- Biodiversity begins with a coma. This makes it easier to grow organically, says Per Brunberg.
