"We have to show that we are moving forward, that we are going fast"

Priority is given to measures that can be implemented quickly, from the start of the school year. According to a ministerial adviser, decrees are in preparation. "We have to show that we are moving forward, that we are going fast", he explained. Thus, concrete and significant measures should be announced. Among them, the thermal renovation of buildings, the fight against the artificialization of soils, the acceleration of the development of short circuits ... but also easier access to electric vehicles for low-income households.

In total, 30 billion euros will be devoted to ecological transition as part of the government's recovery plan. However, there is no question of imposing measures without consultation. Everything will be done in dialogue, assures the entourage of the Minister of Ecological Transition, Barbara Pompili. On Wednesday, a delegation of 12 citizens of the Citizen's Climate Convention, accompanied by social partners and local elected officials, have an appointment with the government.
