Information on fifty suspected pedophiles will be transmitted to the authorities in the coming days. They were gathered by the 37 members of the “Team Eunomie”, citizens committed to the fight against child pornography.

The members are mostly parents, installed in Seine-Maritime and in the Eure, who spend time tracking pedophiles on social networks by creating false profiles, reports France Bleu Normandie on Monday.

418 profiles identified

These "interceptors" do nothing to provoke, but collect information on suspected predators. The founder of Team Eunomie, Shiva, would have identified 418 in all of France, including 50 complete files which will be sent to justice. In these files, identity cards, photos and screenshots of discussions.

"We are not police officers," nevertheless assures Shiva to France Bleu. The goal of Team Eunomie: to help the authorities fight against child crime and ensure that investigations go faster. The members also hope to be able to intervene in schools, colleges and high schools from the start of the school year thanks to a partnership with the association Enfance connectée.
