Brigadier Abdul Hadi Drah, spokesman for the liberation of Sirte, said that the field conditions are stable west of the city of Sirte, and that they are awaiting political moves to enter it peacefully.

Derah added in a video recording, that the forces of the National Accord government are waiting for the political solution to enter Sirte without war, waving the resumption of military operations against Haftar's forces in the event that a peaceful solution fails.

Derah pointed out that they wish to liberate Sirte peacefully, as happened in Al-Wattia and Tarhuna so that we avoid the bloodshed of the Libyans, and the city is not destroyed for the third time, as it was destroyed in 2011, and was destroyed in Al-Bunyan Al-Marsous when liberated from ISIS.

The spokesman for the forces of the National Accord Government, Muhammad Qanunu, said that his forces were advancing eastward, and that they were stationed on the outskirts of the city of Sirte, awaiting instructions to start the "Paths of Victory" military operation. He also said that the reconciliation government was the one that determined the red lines.
