In a season in which they have not always fully mastered the course, Juventus have been able to count on some sure values to accompany the hesitant debut of Maurizio Sarri: De Ligt won, Bentancur progressed, Dybala amazed and Ronaldo has marked, marked and still marked.

. Sarri, a half-successful bet

After the five years of Massimiliano Allegri, a new cycle began with Sarri, who to victory had to add a part of aesthetics.

Half-completed contract: Sarri has secured the usual and indispensable, the title. But there was not much to report in terms of the game, rarely brilliant, sometimes downright disappointing.

"There is no doubt that it was Juve who changed Sarri and not the other way around. He would have wanted players suited to his football and he did not find them," explained last week Fabio Capello in the Corriere dello Sport.

"He had to think about an operation allowing to highlight the characteristics of the players. It is the job of the coaches", added the former Italian technician.

But basically, Sarri's first season can only be judged at the end of the Champions League. Let Juve lose against Lyon and nothing will be forgiven. Let her go to the end and all will be forgotten.

. De Ligt in the deep end

The first season in Turin was to be one of acclimatization for the young Dutchman. But Chiellini's serious injury accelerated the movement and made him a starter immediately.

It was a tough start, including an amazing series of hands in his own box. But then everyone understood: colossal physique, speed, confidence, the former Ajax player at times held the house and was the best Turin defender of the post-confinement.

At 20 and in just one Serie A season, he confirmed that he is the future in this position and that he is well worth the 70 million euros released last summer.

. Mature Bentancur

More than Arthur, who will arrive this summer from Barcelona, the real heir of Pjanic, architect of the Turin game for four seasons, should be Bentancur.

Still young (23 years old), the Uruguayan began to have a great experience with already more than 100 matches in the Juve jersey.

Shaped by Allegri, he's come of age this season and has been a must-have for Sarri, who used him in front of defense or as a right runner.

Ultra-complete, technical and aggressive, he has also been sharper this season, with seven assists. But he still scores too little, like all Turin midfielders.

. Dybala, the shine

He was on the transfer list at the start of the season and it seems crazy a year later. After a difficult last season with Allegri, the Argentinian recalled that he is one of the brightest attacking players in world football.

Dybala has the dual talent of unlocking situations and scoring almost always magnificent goals with his lone left foot. With 17 goals and ten assists in all competitions, he weighed heavily in Turin's success this season.

The former Palermo striker was also, like his companion, affected by the coronavirus in March. We can't say that it bothered him much. He came out injured on Sunday and his absence against Lyon would be very crippling for his club.

. Ronaldo, still there

He is 35 years old, he is not the same player anymore, he has some mood swings and days without, more than before. But the figures are there: The Portuguese scored 31 goals in the league and 35 in 43 games played in all competitions.

In the fight with Ciro Immobile for the title of "capocannoniere", the five-time Ballon d'Or remains the biggest star of Italian football and his coach has more or less admitted that he plays where he chooses.

But for him as for Juventus, the scudetto is not enough. The meeting that counts is that of the Champions League. If Juve eliminates OL, they will go to Lisbon for the "Final 8". This is where Ronaldo wants to shine.
