According to the police, there were calls about the disappearance at 13.50 on Sunday. An elderly woman had then been missing for two to three hours, after she and her husband had separated in the forest in the Helgum area about 15 kilometers west of Sollefteå.

The police worked intensively with the case, says officer Tommy Nygren. Relatively large resources such as dog patrols, drones and several police patrols were deployed.

At 5.45 pm, a dog patrol was able to give the message: the woman was found alive.
