The Cleansing and Carpets Administration of the Grand Mosque, one of the departments affiliated to the General Administration for Technical and Service Affairs headed by the Two Holy Places, has intensified cleaning, disinfection and sterilization work in the Sacred Mosque and its courtyards for 24 hours, in preparation to receive the pilgrims of God’s Sacred House. The mosque is given perfume to receive the pilgrims, while the Saudi Ministry of Health announced that it has provided medical teams to accompany the pilgrims, and allocate a clinic in every residence for pilgrims, and the Hajj Security Forces Command stated that a security cordon has been made on the roads, to prevent violators from entering the Hajj system.
The Department of Purification and Carpets of the Grand Mosque said that it worked to intensify efforts and increase the operations of disinfection and sterilization to prevent the new Corona virus (Covid-19), where the Grand Mosque and its outer courtyards and facilities are washed 10 times daily, using the finest types of disinfectants, sterilizers and perfumers that were specially brought to the Grand Mosque And daily, about 54 thousand liters of disinfectants are used during washing, and workers use 95 modern washing equipment, 2400 liters of sterilizers, of which 1500 liters for surfaces, 900 liters of hand sanitizers, and 1050 liters of fresheners are also used.
The administration indicated that it is also “completely washing the bowl, washing the stone of Ismail, peace be upon him, wiping, perfuming, and sterilizing the black stone and the right and obligatory corner, and sterilizing the barriers surrounding the honorable Kaaba after washing them, as the magnification is washed and sterilized throughout the day, with the direct follow-up and supervision of the president General of the affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque, Dr. Abdul Rahman Al-Sudais ».
To that, the leadership of the Hajj Security Forces confirmed the completion of the readiness of the working forces during the current Hajj season of 1441 AH to carry out the tasks entrusted to them, and integrated with all participating security sectors, through the work of a security cordon and deployment on the roads and sites assigned to the forces, to prevent the entry of violators to the Hajj regime, and what It is assigned tasks, in addition to providing security and security protection for the seasonal and important sites that the forces provide protection and support during the Hajj season.
And the Saudi Public Security announced that the penalties for violations of entry to the holy places (Mona, Muzdalifah, Arafat) were imposed without permission from the competent authority, against 16 violators, by fining each of them 10 thousand riyals. The General Security called on all citizens and residents to adhere to the Hajj instructions, stressing that the security men impose a tight security cordon on the holy places, to implement the instructions and to control those who violate them.
For its part, the Saudi Ministry of Health announced that it has strengthened its efforts to provide health care to the guests of Rahman during the performance of their hermit, by allocating a specialized medical clinic in every residence for pilgrims, and each group of pilgrims is accompanied by health practitioners throughout the time to provide medical assistance, with the allocation of medical and emergency teams equipped with all The means in every step to serve the guests of Rahman.
The Ministry has prepared health facilities in the Holy Places to provide specialized medical care in Mona Al-Wadi Hospital, 29 Health Center in Arafat, Field Hospital and Mobile Clinic. It has also equipped a mobile hospital dedicated to intensive care, in addition to six highly equipped ambulances.
