A businessman was surprised by the disappearance of 65,000 dirhams from his car that he had given to the parking worker in a hotel. He informed the Dubai police, who arrested the accused and admitted to transferring part of the amount to his country immediately after he was stolen, despite his seizure within hours of the incident. The accused was referred to the public prosecution and from there to the Criminal Court, which initiated his trial. In the Public Prosecution investigation, the victim said that he received a sum of money from one of the clients and put him in the pocket of his car door, went to a hotel in the Jumeirah area, left the car in front of the hotel and handed the key to the receptionist, then went to his room, and when he went down in the evening he discovered that the amount had disappeared.
