According to the police, a person is feared to have ended up in the water. A search and rescue operation is underway, where sea rescue, rescue service and police helicopter are involved.
During the operation, the Vallsund Bridge was closed. Police say it is unclear what happened. At 5.40 pm, the operation was still ongoing. Alarms about the incident came just over two hours earlier.
