The official spokesman for the Saudi Public Security announced that the penalties for violations of entry to the Holy Places (Mona, Muzdalifah, Arafat) were signed without permission from the competent authority, against 16 violators, by fining each of them an amount of 10,000 riyals.

This comes in response to the royal order to approve the provisions and penalties for violators of precautionary measures and preventive measures taken to counter the emerging Corona virus, and what was previously announced by the instructions for ensuring compliance with precautionary measures and preventive measures taken to confront the pandemic of "Corona" competent for the Hajj season this year 1441 AH.

In a statement, according to the Saudi Press Agency, SPA, the official spokesman called on citizens and residents to abide by the Hajj instructions, stressing that the security men impose a tight security cordon on the holy feelings to implement the instructions and control those who violate them.

The Saudi authorities have announced the imposition of the fine for anyone who violates the instructions to prevent entry to the holy sites without permission starting from the date of 11/28/1441 AH, and until the end of day 12 of Dhu al-Hijjah, provided that the penalty is doubled in the event of a repeat of the violation.

An official source at the Saudi Ministry of Interior confirmed that this is to ensure compliance with the application of precautionary measures and preventive "protocols" to reduce the outbreak of the Corona virus approved for the Hajj season this year 1441 AH.

The source stressed that the security men will start their duties in all ways and paths leading to the holy places to prevent violations and control any attempt to enter the holy sites during the specified period and apply the sanctions against all violators.
