"It is expected on July 26 the arrival of another special board of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations with a large batch of medical equipment and medicines for about 150 million rubles," the Russian embassy in the republic quotes TASS.

The composition of the aid includes, among other things, ventilators, medicines and personal protective equipment.

The embassy expects that this assistance will help curb the spread of coronavirus in Kyrgyzstan.

Earlier it became known that in Kyrgyzstan July 30 will be declared a day of national mourning for citizens who have died as a result of coronavirus infection.
