A collision between a motorist and a motorcyclist took place at the intersection between highway 42 and road 182, south of Vårgårda.
Ambulance helicopters and other rescue personnel have been alerted to the accident site. According to the police, the motorcyclist is awake and talkable, but the injury situation is still unclear.
Highway 42 is closed during the rescue operation. The alarm about the accident came just before half past ten on Saturday.
