Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that his country has defended its rights and interests, and that those opposed to its actions cannot fight it on the ground.

Erdogan stressed in a speech delivered today Saturday via video at the inauguration ceremony of a local project, that his country has no ambitions in the lands of any country or its wealth.

"We defended the rights and interests of our nation, our country, and our friends everywhere, by land, sea, and air," he said. He stressed that Turkey disappointed all those waiting to falter again, as he put it.

Erdogan said, "Our vision of a strong and strong Turkey has begun to materialize, and its tangible results are slowly being shown."

He continued, "Those who raise their voices in protest against Turkey's measures cannot fight it on the ground, because they realize the extent of its strength at all levels."

He pointed out that Turkey was once a country targeted by sanctions, blockades and threats, and today it turned into a country that everyone wants to cooperate with.

The Turkish President considered that his country’s use of its national sovereign rights is generally accepted internationally, with the exception of some countries.

He added that recent angry reactions by some countries, which he did not name, are not due to Turkey's actions regarding the Hagia Sophia or the Eastern Mediterranean, but rather to "its hostility to the presence of the Turkish people and Muslims in this region," according to his opinion.

Erdogan renewed his talk about an opportunity for Turkey to assume a very important global political and economic position in the post-Corona epidemic.

It is noteworthy that several countries have emerged criticizing Turkey recently in relation to its role in Libya, Syria and the Eastern Mediterranean, as well as about its decision to return the Hagia Sophia mosque and open it to worshipers, and these countries include France, Greece and Egypt.
