Algeria but also Turkey, Brazil, India… Countries on red alert where the circulation of the virus is particularly active. It is an extremely important security device, insisted Jean Castex on a visit to Roissy. The device will be fully operational on August 1, and will also be set up in ports. Strengthening of health controls at the borders, which is required by the resumption of Covid-19 cases in France.

The toughening of the rules should go even further, believes Samuel, just arrived from Russia, in the green zone. "From one country to another, we do not know what the health situation is today. Between what we think we know and what we do not know, I find that although the tests are mandatory to enter the territory. "

3,000 tests per day

The boss of Aéroports de Paris, Augustin de Romanet, details the new rules: "All passengers arriving in France must be provided with a PCR test. The border police will not allow them to enter the territory if they do not do not test. And if they are positive, then the ARS calls them, and we will monitor their fortnight. " To avoid the probable queues on arrival in Paris, he recommends that passengers instead be tested just before their departure.

So far, volunteer nurses have performed 600 tests per day. In a week they will perform about 3,000, a number that could increase if more countries are added to the list. Additional test areas could be created, in addition to the three already existing.
