Also for these violations, five premises were closed in Rome during the police checks carried out yesterday evening at the first light of dawn today in the nightlife areas. In particular, the police closed three premises in Trastevere and one in Ponte Milvio. One was closed by the police in Piazza Bologna.   

In Trastevere the police officers fined many children for not respecting social distancing and drinking alcohol on the street, especially in Ponte Sisto and Piazza Trilussa. The three shops that sold takeaway alcohol to the boys after 11 pm were also fined. Three other rooms were instead closed due to violation of the covid 19 protocols, having allowed the creation of gatherings with the massing of chairs and tables and the lack of use of the masks. It is a bar, a restaurant and a food shop, all close to Piazza Trilussa, whose steps, a well-known meeting place for young people and one of the symbols of the Roman nightlife, had already been closed last week on the disposal of the municipal authorities for the covid alarm. The three rooms were closed for one, two and five days respectively, depending on the irregularities found and the time needed to eliminate them.   

In Ponte Milvio a place was sanctioned and closed for two days due to the failure to comply with the Covid-19 protocols. The employees, in fact, did not wear a mask and there was a strong gathering of people, both inside and outside the bar, however, of small size.   

The Carabinieri of the Compagnia Roma Parioli instead closed a room in Piazza Bologna for one day for having created a gathering that did not guarantee the social distancing of at least 1 meter. At the time of the inspection carried out by the Carabinieri, in fact, 11 people were surprised inside, in turn identified and sanctioned for a total of 3,080 euros.
