Crazy chase between two police officers and two individuals aboard a stolen car on the night of Thursday to Friday in the agglomeration of Montpellier.

It was around midnight that the police spotted this Mini stolen the day before on the avenue de la Liberté. The officials first tried to control it at the Prés-D'Arènes roundabout but the driver fled on the A709 towards Sète, says Midi-Libre .

He crosses the highway on foot

Traveling at 180 km / h, the Mini slalomed through traffic before smashing a toll barrier in Saint-Jean-de-Védas. The two police cars were after him and even managed to stop him behind a bus before the driver slammed into one of the officers' vehicles to escape again.

At the level of the municipality of Fabrègues, the passenger of the stolen car went down straight on the emergency lane. The Mini was finally arrested after another collision with the police car. The driver tried to flee on foot, not hesitating to cross the six lanes of the highway! He was however stopped on the other side by an officer on foot. His acolyte was also arrested and taken into custody.

A police officer was injured in the arm during this eventful arrest.
