"33 reconnaissance aircraft of foreign countries conducted aerial reconnaissance along the borders of the Russian Federation and were accompanied by Russian radar stations," the newspaper said.
Also 10 unmanned aerial vehicles were approaching the borders.
Russian fighters from the air defense forces on duty rose to intercept three times. There were no violations of Russian airspace.
Previously, Su-27 fighters of the Black Sea Fleet naval aviation took off to intercept the US Air Force reconnaissance aircraft.
