As reported on the agency's website, from 00:00 on August 1, "air traffic is resumed from the airports of Moscow, Moscow Region, St. Petersburg and Rostov-on-Don to the UK (London), Turkey (Istanbul and Ankara) and Tanzania (Zanzibar)" , and from 00:00 on August 10 "flights from the indicated Russian cities to Antalya, Dalaman and Bodrum (Republic of Turkey) are resumed."

It is noted that the flights "will be carried out by Russian and foreign airlines on a regular and charter basis."

"Previously introduced restrictions on the number of passengers arriving per day in Moscow and the regions on these routes have been canceled," the Federal Air Transport Agency added.

Earlier, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin announced the resumption of international flights by Russia from August 1.

In turn, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova clarified that international flights to the UK, Turkey and Tanzania will be opened from August 1. 

Mishustin also signed a government order to lift restrictions on entry into the country for citizens of Turkey and Tanzania, as well as for British citizens.
