“Today Rostechnadzor sent a report on the progress of inspections of hazardous production facilities to President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin,” RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.

As noted in Rostekhnadzor, they were organized as part of the execution of the instructions of the head of state following a meeting dedicated to the elimination of the consequences of a diesel fuel spill in the Krasnoyarsk Territory.

On May 29, a diesel spill occurred at the Norilsk TPP-3, owned by Norilsk Nickel. Rosprirodnadzor estimated the damage to the environment at almost 148 billion rubles.
