Former heavyweight world champion Mike Tyson has announced that his expected return to boxing tracks will be during a show-off match against Roy Jones Junior, world champion in four classes, on September 12.

The match will be from eight rounds, and it will be broadcasted via the Trailer platform, along with the transmission of scenes, pre-session photography, and musical notes.

Tyson, 53, who was the first heavyweight boxer with titles from the World Boxing Association, the World Boxing Council, and the International Boxing Association - cheered the fans about his possible return to boxing in May after posting videos of his training and once said "I'm back."

He recently said he was interested in returning to boxing to raise money for humanitarian purposes.

His former rival, Evander Holyfield, was a frontrunner to face alongside New Zealand rugby legend Sonny Bill Williams before choosing Roy Jones.

The last fight for Jones, 51, who held seven boxing belts, was in 2018.

Tyson became the youngest world heavyweight champion of all time when he defeated Trevor Burbeek in 1986 at the age of 20, winning 50 out of a total of 58 as a professional before retiring in 2005 after losing to Kevin McBride.
