According to public radio Kanun, an anti-tank rocket exploded in Syrian territory not far from the Druze town of Majdal Shams, on the Israeli side of the area.
Israeli public radio pointed out that the Golan explosions did not cause casualties.

According to the first Syrian source reconstructions - mentioned by the broadcaster - the echoes of the explosions were due to the anti-aircraft fire opened by the Syrian village of di-Khader (Kuneitra) against an Israeli unmanned aircraft flying over the area. The aircraft, according to those sources, returned to Israeli airspace.

Since yesterday, Israel has raised its alert status in fear of Hezbollah retaliatory attacks after a Lebanese Shiite militiaman was killed in Syria in a raid attributed to the Israeli air force days ago.
