On Friday, the World Health Organization expressed its concern about a new outbreak of the Corona epidemic in a number of European countries. In addition, injuries in the United States exceeded 4 million, while India became the sixth country to die.

More than 15.5 million injuries have been officially recorded in 196 countries and regions, and 633,711 people have died in the world, and the situation on the American continent remains a source of great concern.

As of Friday, Europe recorded 207 thousand and 118 deaths out of more than 3 million injuries in total, according to a census set by the French Press Agency.

The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said on Friday that Corona virus infections in the United States amounted to 4 million and 24 thousand and 492 cases, an increase of more than 72 thousand cases over the previous census, while the number of deaths rose to 143 thousand and 868 cases.

For his part, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson said on Friday that he believed the country would overcome the crisis of the emerging coronavirus by mid-2021, but he feared a second surge in the number of cases of the disease, which may constitute pressures greater than the capacity of health services.

He told reporters, "Whatever its source ... a bat or a scalping ant ... it was a very, very hateful thing for the human race. I think by the middle of next year we will be over it."

"This country will rise to be stronger than ever ... We still have the risk of a second spike," he added.

Circulating gaskets

In France, the Ministry of Health announced today, Friday, that it recorded 1130 new cases of Covid-19 during the past 24 hours, in a new indication that the rate of infections is accelerating again after the government eased restrictions on public isolation.

This is the second day in a row that France has recorded more than a thousand cases of the disease caused by the emerging Corona virus.

The ministry said in a statement that these figures show the citizens need for more commitment to social separation and following public health rules.

In India, 740 new deaths were recorded in 24 hours, according to a new toll today, Friday. With the death toll exceeding 30,000, it became the sixth country to be the most affected, after the United States, Brazil, the United Kingdom, Mexico and Italy.

In Iran, there were 215 deaths from the Coronavirus, and a spokeswoman for the Ministry of Health, Sima Sadat Larry, told state television that "the total number of Covid-19 victims has now reached 15,289."

In Europe, the generalization of masks and the examination of arrivals from abroad began in the context of fighting against Corona, where the World Health Organization expressed on Friday "concern" about the outbreak again in several countries of the continent.

And the decision to put masks in stores and markets in Britain came into effect, and the same applies to Vienna stores, as well as in postal centers, banks and medical centers.

In spite of the difficulty that people may face to understand each other in light of the muzzling of mouths, but "we must put a muzzle in order to protect ourselves and protect others," according to the Vienna Post Office employee Aktas.

Call for caution

The European Office of the World Health Organization called on European countries to remain responsive and lift restrictions "with caution", and to return them if necessary.

A spokeswoman for the office said, "The new surge in Covid-19 injuries in some countries following the easing of the spacing is undoubtedly a cause for concern."

Several European countries have strengthened the tests to which the arrivals are subject, and Germany has decided to suggest free checks for travelers returning to the country, while France has approved mandatory checks on travelers from 16 countries, including the United States and Algeria.

Several countries have opted to re-impose partial isolation. In Japan, the nearly 10 million Tokyo residents were invited to stay indoors as of Thursday, the first day of a long weekend in Japan.

In South Africa, whose government schools will be closed again for one month, a 60% increase in the number of deaths due to natural causes in recent weeks suggests that the number of corona deaths is much higher than official statistics provide.
