The deputy headmaster of the Hélène-Boucher high school in Thionville (Moselle) appeared on Wednesday before the city's criminal court. At issue: death threats he allegedly uttered on May 12 within the confines of the establishment, reports Le Républicain Lorrain .

"I'm going to come back with my Famas, I kill them, I shoot them all," he said at the reception desk. Present, one of his colleagues had filed a complaint and has since requested his transfer, according to the regional daily. "I released an awkward sentence," admitted the defendant, claiming that these words were not intended for anyone in particular.

He was sentenced to sixty day fines of 7 euros and will have to pay 500 euros in damages to the victim. The deputy headmaster had also already been suspended for four months.
