Nicolas Sarkozy, whose new book “Le Temps des tempêtes” [ed. De l'Observatoire] appears this Friday, will be the guest of the 8 p.m. TV news on TF1 presented by Julien Arnaud next Monday, the channel said. This interview will be broadcast simultaneously on the group's news channel, LCI.
In his new book, published a year after the publication of “Passions”, sold over 300,000 copies, Nicolas Sarkozy looks back on the first two years of his five-year term, in 2007 and 2008. “As of May 16, 2007, I was alone (...) I had wanted, respected, dreamed of it. Now I was there (...) It was more brutal than I had imagined, ”he wrote in an excerpt that he published on Twitter on Wednesday evening.

The former president assured Le Figaro that this book had "no political dimension in a project to build or continue a career". “I am not in the countryside. I don't miss it! No one believes me, but it's the truth, ”he says.
