- In the municipality of Flen, we are very happy to receive deviation reports. Lex Sarah is there to make things better for our elderly - and not to point out scapegoats. Receiving reports is very important to get things right and we are happy that there will be reports so that we can review ourselves and be investigated, says Berit Ahlberg Åhammar, head of the elderly care department in Flen municipality.

The events must have occurred during the period March, April and the first part of May.

Were these events in any way corona-related?

- It will be clear from the investigation. It is important to look at what happens during the corona, when people are under stress and the organization is under pressure, says Berit Ahlberg Åhammar.

It was staff in the business who reported the events to the municipality. The municipality of Flen has in turn made a Lex Sarah report to IVO, the Swedish Health and Care Inspectorate.
