continue to look at other countries. First, Japan has surpassed 300 for the first time in Tokyo, with 920 confirmers a day. The Tokyo Olympics, which was postponed for next year, is only one year left today (23rd).

Today, 366 corona new confirmers were added in Tokyo.

Today is the first time that the number of confirmed people in Tokyo has exceeded 300.

The Governor of Tokyo, Koike, appealed again to refrain from going out, saying that the infection is spreading, regardless of region or age.

[Koike/Tokyo Governor: I don't want to be infected, I want you to act on the basis of not infecting.]

Osaka, which passed 100 new confirmers for the first time yesterday, has 104 infected people today, and close to 100 Aichi prefectures with Nagoya. It was confirmed further.

In fact, the whole of Japan was in a corona replay situation.

In the midst of this, the opening of the Tokyo Olympics, which was postponed to next year, is just one year ahead of today, but the atmosphere is subdued.

Organizing Chairman Mori said, "If the current spread of infection continues, it will be impossible to hold it next year." IOC senior members also said there is no way to postpone the Olympics again.

[Dick Pound/IOC Commissioner: It was possible to postpone for one year, but it was difficult beyond that. Even after one year, there are only six months left until the Beijing (Winter) Olympic Games.] The

relief to overcome the corona and be sure to be held next year can be found everywhere, but skepticism is growing whether it is possible.
