Two Iranian fighter planes approached an Iranian passenger plane in the Syrian airspace, prompting the pilot to change altitude quickly to avoid collision, which caused a number of passengers' injuries, news agency reported on Thursday.

A video posted by the agency showed a fighter plane from the passenger plane's window and comments from a passenger whose face was stained with blood.

Al-Jazeera correspondent mentioned that an Iranian passenger plane belonging to Mahan company, which had been intercepted by military fighters in Syrian airspace, landed at Rafic Hariri International Airport in the Lebanese capital, Beirut, by plane.

Al-Jazeera correspondent said that the injured were evacuated from the plane, and Anatolia quoted the head of Beirut Airport as saying that the injuries among the passengers of the Iranian plane are only bruises, and it did not require them to be transferred to hospitals.
