"According to the regional forestry dispatch services, over the past day, July 22, 82 forest fires were liquidated in Russia on an area of 4013 hectares," the department said.
It is clarified that by midnight on July 23, 131 forest fires were active in Russia on an area of 18,775 hectares, which were actively extinguished.
Earlier in the city of Miass, Chelyabinsk region, an emergency regime was introduced due to forest fires.
