Chinese officials issued a document on the 23rd stating that immigrants should undergo nucleic acid testing before boarding in accordance with relevant requirements. All localities must ensure that personnel are transferred and quarantined for medical observation in accordance with regulations after entry.

  In order to further improve the intensive isolation of medical observation and nucleic acid for people who are not “category four” (except for confirmed cases of new coronary pneumonia, suspected cases, persons with fever symptoms, and close contacts) under the situation of the gradual recovery of international routes and the gradual increase of inbound personnel In response to the testing work, the State Council of China issued the "Notice on Further Doing a Good Job in the Centralized Quarantine Medical Observation and Nucleic Acid Testing of Entry Persons" in response to the joint prevention and control mechanism of the new coronavirus pneumonia epidemic.

  The notice pointed out that immigrants should carry out pre-boarding nucleic acid tests in accordance with the "Announcement of the Civil Aviation Administration, General Administration of Customs, and Ministry of Foreign Affairs on the Boarding of Passengers on Flights to China with Negative COVID-19 Tests". All localities should continue to implement work requirements such as nucleic acid testing and transfer management of immigrants to ensure that they are transported and quarantined medical observations in accordance with regulations after entry.

  For immigrants who have completed remote nucleic acid testing and have the conditions for closed transfer management, home isolation conditions (with separate rooms and separate toilets), and can carry out precise community control, centralized isolation medical observation measures can be implemented on a voluntary basis. After receiving the customs nucleic acid test at the port of entry, entry personnel will be quarantined at the place of entry for 7 days and undergo nucleic acid testing at their own expense. Those with negative test results can be transferred to home quarantine for 7 days and voluntarily undergo a nucleic acid test at their own expense after 14 days of quarantine.

  According to the notice, entry-port cities where the isolation conditions can meet the need for centralized isolation of immigrants can continue to implement centralized isolation medical observation for immigrants for 14 days and conduct 2 nucleic acid tests.

  Those who have abnormal symptoms during home isolation and those who have a positive nucleic acid test after the end of home isolation shall be promptly sent to designated medical institutions for diagnosis and treatment in accordance with regulations. If the investigation results are suspected cases, confirmed cases, or asymptomatic infected persons, close contacts shall be subject to centralized isolation medical observation.

  According to the latest official data, there are currently 76 confirmed cases imported overseas (including 2 severe cases) and 3 suspected cases. A total of 2023 confirmed cases, a total of 1947 cured and discharged cases, and no deaths. (Finish)
