The expectations of new stimuli to the American economy seem to prevail over the new tensions between the United States and China after Washington's order to close the Chinese consulate in Houston, Texas.
The rise in StMicroelectronis on the Ftse Mib, + 2.9% after the publication of the quarterly accounts. Worse performance for Diasorin, -5.3%, which was the subject of an investigation by the Pavia prosecutor's office yesterday at the top of the company and the Policlinico San Matteo of Pavia for the agreement on serological tests. 

Ubi Banca's share is under observation (-0.67%). An institution's board of directors is scheduled for this morning. Last night, adhesions to the public exchange offer launched by Intesa Sanpaolo reached 17 percent. 

Other FCA shares (+ 0.51%). Yesterday, the Guardia di Finanza of Turin, in the context of a letter rogatory requested by the Frankfurt judiciary in connection with an investigation into the Dieselgate, carried out searches in various offices of the group.

The tensions between the United States and China contributed to the drop in Shanghai during the night, which went down (-0.24%) while Hong Kong and Seoul were positive, which however fell yesterday. Tokyo is closed for holidays. Wall Street yesterday closed with a plus sign, because expectations of new monetary and fiscal stimuli for the American economy continue.

In the spotlight, the pharmaceutical company Pfizer (+ 5%), after the US government ordered 600 million doses of Covid19 vaccines, currently under test.
Yesterday the quarterly accounts of Microsoft and Tesla were also released, in both cases above expectations. Tonight the results of Amazon, Intel and Twitter.
