Noor Mammadov published the 23 and 24 verses of Surat Al-Isra in Arabic, English and Russian, and added, "I will miss you, my father. You were a father, friend, brother and trainer. You have taught me almost everything, please be satisfied with me, because the consent of the parents is the satisfaction of God."

A large number of fans interacted with the publication, which received millions of interactions within hours of its publication, and some sports stars - including the former English football star David Beckham - were keen to comment and condole Mamedov.
