The Sharia court in Fujairah rejected a divorce lawsuit filed by an (Arab) wife on her husband on the pretext of not sitting at home with her, spending his time in the hospital to treat Corona patients all the time, in addition to not respecting her.
And by asking the wife’s judiciary about the harm that the husband causes to her, she said that she “does not see him for long periods of weeks and months, and at intervals, as she finds herself responsible for two daughters who are very young and very close, which makes her exhausting and in need of someone who helps her at home, and carries a part Of responsibility ».
The wife indicated that her two girls urgently need their father's presence all the time with them, and that she needs him to help her raise the two girls, demanding that the husband be obliged to grant her her rights, spend on them, and buy the needs of the home.
She added that she could no longer tolerate her husband's behavior with her, and his lack of respect for her, pointing out that he expelled her from the house more than once, despite her attempts several times to understand him with the discussion, stressing that he insults her and insults her family, does not respond to her pleas, and repeats his rude behavior with her.
On the other hand, the husband said that his work as a doctor in a government hospital requires him a long time and effort to spend outside the home, stressing that his work requires him to stay in the hospital for long periods of time to treat patients with the Corona virus, which forces him to stay in the hospital longer than he previously spent, noting that he When he gets an opportunity, he returns home to see his family, but he is exhausted all the time, and he is unable to conduct a dialogue with his wife, who always asks him to be at home, to help her and understand her situation.
He assured the court that he was affected by the insistence of his wife's urgency, as he exerts all his efforts at work, which makes him in a state of stress during the current period, stressing that he cares for his daughters, and does not cause them any harm, whether by neglecting their needs, or directing impolite words to them, He treats them with love, pointing out that divorce is not the solution, just for simple problems that may be solved by appreciation and understanding.
For its part, the Sharia court rejected the divorce lawsuit, and obligated the wife to engage in obedience to the husband, because of the lack of evidence of harm to her.
