- The fire has occurred in the blueberry rice on a small headland, Havudden, at northern Immeln. It has caused a column of smoke that can be seen in the distance, says Anders Olofsson, internal commander at the rescue service in Kristianstad.
The alarm came just before 6.30 pm, and firefighting has located the scene.
Wild boar prevents firefighters- It is a difficult terrain, and there are also wild boars that make it difficult for us to get to and extinguish, says Anders Olofsson.
The fire area is 25 times 50 meters. The fire is not yet under control, but the rescue service considers the risk of spreading to be small.
Forces from Osby, Lönsboda and Sibbhult participate in the firefighting work.
