It is noted that the bill was prepared by Deputy Pavel Krasheninnikov and Senator Andrei Klishas as part of the implementation of the adopted amendments to the Constitution of Russia.

They also submitted to the State Duma projects with a proposal on amendments to the Administrative Code, the Criminal Code and the Criminal Procedure Code concerning the punishment for calls and actions to alienate territories.

Earlier it was reported that attempts to alienate could face imprisonment for up to ten years, for conscriptions - an administrative fine of up to 500 thousand rubles.

Russian President Vladimir Putin noted that the amendments to the Constitution on the inviolability of borders and the impossibility of seizing Russian territories were proposed by members of the working group and by citizens themselves.
