Sotenäs municipality about the congestion: "You do not have to be on Smögenbryggan"

Maria Bylund is environmental manager in Sotenäs municipality. She states that they receive around five calls a day to report congestion in public places.

- Our responsibility is to control restaurants and there I think that the restaurateurs to a large extent do what they can. But it is very crowded in shops and on the pier. It feels like half of those who are there are there to check if it's crowded.

She wants to emphasize the individual responsibility that is easy to forget.

- No one must be on Smögenbryggan, it is pure pleasure. If it's crowded, get out of there. There are plenty of nice places in our municipality that are completely empty, she says.
