The Athletics League's Diamond League competition in Stockholm in August has won Norwegian hurdles star Karsten Warholm's toes. The two-time 400-meter hurdles world champion plans to isolate himself in a motorhome before the Stockholm race on 23 August.

- I don't want to take the risk of getting coronary heart disease. Although I am a young man, then the athlete I can not risk my career. If my lung capacity decreases by as much as half a percent for the rest of my life, it will affect the performance of my entire end of my career, Warholm pondered.

Warholm is well aware that the coronavirus situation in Sweden is worse than in Norway.

- One option would be to rent a motorhome and live completely in your own bubble. I want to race because I have been practicing well, Warholm said.
