A burglar in Jönköping is now himself suspected of a crime

It was just before 3 pm on Wednesday afternoon that the police received a call about a burglary in an apartment in Jönköping. A broken window testified that someone had tried to enter the apartment.

Half an hour later, a police patrol was on site. In the apartment, the police found bicycles that turned out to be stolen and something that was suspected to be drugs.

The crime-ridden apartment owner was now himself suspected of receiving and drug crimes. He was taken for testing to investigate possible drug effects.

The man is in his 60s. It is unclear what may have been stolen from his home, but the criminal classification of aggravated theft by burglary in his apartment remained on Wednesday night.
