The drama in Lutsk lasted for over eleven hours. A man in his 40s boarded a bus and took all the passengers and driver hostage.

However, the grenade did not detonate. The man also claimed that he had hidden a bomb, which could be detonated remotely, somewhere in the city.

The police cordoned off the central parts of Lutsk and tried to establish contact with the man.
