The case was initiated in December 2019.

As reported, the tragedy took place in a house on Yubileinaya Street in Mendeleevsk.

A man in a state of alcoholic intoxication attacked his 38-year-old wife, 19-year-old stepson and two-year-old son. The noise woke up the man's 12-year-old stepson, whom he ordered to lock himself in his room. The child realized what was happening, managed to get out of the house through the window and run to the police station.

When the police arrived at the address, the 38-year-old woman and her older, 19-year-old son were already dead. The two-year-old was still alive, but died on the way to the hospital.
