  The spokesperson of the Nepalese government Katiwada announced on July 21 that starting from August 17, all types of private cars and buses can be driven on the streets; hotels, restaurants, etc. can be opened on July 30.

  The Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation of Nepal said on the same day that various tourism businesses will resume operations immediately, and mountaineering enthusiasts can go to Nepal to engage in mountaineering activities this fall. According to estimates by industry insiders, the blockade has caused losses of approximately US$332 million in Nigeria’s tourism industry.

  Katiwada said that the lifting of the blockade policy will help calm people's panic. However, in order to continue to curb the spread of the new crown virus, the government may implement a partial ban in the future according to local conditions and time. In addition, educational institutions, movie theaters, beauty salons, gymnasiums, fitness clubs, religious sites, libraries, museums and zoos will continue to remain closed.
