Korea's first military-only communication satellite,'Anasis No. 2', rose into space.

Launched on Falcon 9, a SpaceX recycling rocket founded by Alan Musk.

Anasis 2 was successfully separated from Falcon 9 and successfully communicated with the ground control center.

[It was on time. There is no

problem with separation.] About two weeks later, the target orbit, that is, always faces the 24-hour Korean Peninsula in the same spot.

After three months of inspection, our military takes over, and the possession of a dedicated military satellite is the 10th in the world.

This expectation is also due to the somewhat exaggerated reaction of the head of the Defense Science Research Institute, which was delivering the moment of launch.

[Nam Se-Gyu/Director of Defense Science Research Institute: The gods of space open the way to the sky, Falcon 9 goes out, Anasis 2 is perfect.]

Meanwhile, the military used the civilian communication satellite'Mugunghwa No. 5'.

It was not military-only, so it was vulnerable to attacks such as radio wave disturbance.

[Spokesperson for Hee Sun Jang/Defense Defense Agency: Compared to existing satellites, you can see that the performance has been improved to keep our communication network stable, such as data transmission capacity and enemy jamming attacks.]

This year's ANACIS No. 2 was secured by a trade-off method in 2014 when our military chose the F-35A of Lockheed Martin as the next-generation fighter.

The Agency announced that it will gradually acquire surveillance reconnaissance satellites and early warning satellites.
