Braked on Saturday in Verona (1-1), Atalanta Bergamo returned to the direction of travel by beating Bologna 1-0 on Tuesday during the 35th day of Serie A, in which the future opponent of Paris SG takes the second square.

In the other match of the day, AC Milan for its part confirmed its great form with a third success in a row, brought back from Sassuolo thanks to a brace from Ibrahimovic (2-1).

In Bergamo, the only goal of the match was scored in the 61st minute by Muriel with a nice dry strike after a support on Zapata, the other Colombian of the Bergamo attack.

With this goal, Muriel offered three useful points to his team, which provisionally passes second to six points from Juventus. He also confirmed his status as the best substitute in the championship with 11 goals coming off the bench, out of a total of 18.

Dominating after the break, Atalanta was still rather neutral during the first period, very balanced, even slightly dominated by Bologna.

Pasalic was signaled by a good strike (29th) but the best opportunity was for Bologna with a free kick from Barrow slammed on his bar by Gollini (40th).

Meanwhile, Atalanta coach Gian Piero Gasperini was sent off for a spectacular spat with his counterpart Sinisa Mihajlovic.

Nervous for a few weeks, Gasperini received two red cards in the last month.

- Twice Ibra -

Three weeks away from its Champions League quarter-final against PSG, Atalanta showed a very serious face, even if it did not have the sparkle of late June early July, when she was having fun with his opponents.

In his defense, the grimaces on the faces of the players made it clear that it was very hot in Bergamo and the new absence of Ilicic, still not physically developed, weighs on his attacking game.

The victory of Atalanta also made the calculations easier. There is only one scenario offering the scudetto to Juventus from this 35th day: a defeat or a draw for Inter Milan on Wednesday at home against Fiorentina and a success of the Turinese the next day against Udinese.

Behind the Top 4 and the Champions League zone, AC Milan therefore made a good operation by going to beat Sassuolo 2-1, which earned him a fifth place while waiting for the AS Roma match. (6th) Wednesday on the lawn of the Spal, already relegated.

It was Ibrahimovic who scored the two Lombard goals, while Caputo had briefly brought Sassuolo to 1-1 from the penalty spot.

Stefano Pioli's men, who could eventually be confirmed in their post, played the entire second half 11-10 and have now won five of their last six matches.

This match was also the 200th played by Donnarumma in Serie A. The Milan goalkeeper, who is only 21 years old, even took the captain's armband at the exit of Romagnoli.
