In several countries, including France, hydrogen production is developing and we are now able to produce "green" hydrogen which is no longer produced from natural gas, a fossil resource that pollutes too much. Once transformed into electricity by a fuel cell, this resource will power a battery to run any type of vehicle. In this episode of "Before Tomorrow", Ombline Roche explains why this amazing fuel could be the energy of the future.

Today, when we talk about "green" fuel, all eyes are on hydrogen. In June, Germany decided to spend 9 billion euros in the sector. In France, via the recovery plan, the government has announced that it wants to invest massively in research and production. But how does it work? What is the true potential of this energy? And how can "green" hydrogen be an essential lever for ecological transition?

In this episode of "Avant Demain", the podcast of Europe 1 Studio in partnership with EDF, Ombline Roche gives the floor to Christelle Rouille, Managing Director of Hynamics, the EDF subsidiary which offers a hydrogen offer. It explains why this energy has the advantages of becoming the energy of the future on the roads but also on the rails and even for maritime transport.

"Avant Demain" is a Europe 1 Studio production produced in partnership with EDF. Every month, discover two episodes to better dive with Anicet Mbida and Ombline Roche in the heart of the changes that are already shaping our lives.
