Degtyarev commented on his appointment as acting head of the Khabarovsk Territory

He noted that Russian President Vladimir Putin entrusted him with a very serious matter.

According to the politician, he has great respect for the choice of the inhabitants of the region, which was formalized in the gubernatorial elections and in the Legislative Duma.

"The federal center heard and took into account the opinion of the voters of the Khabarovsk Territory, sending me here to work," RIA Novosti quotes Degtyarev.

He stressed that now the main task is to work for the benefit of people.

Earlier it was reported that Degtyarev flew to Khabarovsk and was presented to the regional government.
