Today, Monday, the Turkish Al-Fateh ship started its first exploration in the Tuna field in the Black Sea.
This came in a tweet published by Turkish Energy and Natural Resources Minister Fatih Donmez on his Twitter page.
In his tweet, Donmaz said that the ship had started exploration for oil and natural gas in the Black Sea, taking behind them calls and support for the Turkish people.
Donmaz added that Turkey will not leave an inch of its territorial waters without drilling, with a view to achieving its energy independence, and added, "If wealth exists, we will surely find it through exploration."
It is noteworthy that the Al-Fateh ship launched on May 29 from Istanbul, on its way to Trabzon.
