  According to Russian Ministry of Defense news, the National Center for Epidemiology and Microbiology of the Russian Ministry of Defense, Gamalya, successfully completed a clinical trial of volunteers for the new coronavirus vaccine at the Buldenko Military Clinical General Hospital. The second batch of 20 volunteers was discharged from the military hospital on the morning of the 20th local time.

  The Ministry of National Defense stated that “the test results obtained clearly showed that all volunteers developed an immune response after vaccination. There were no side effects, complications or adverse reactions, and no cases of volunteers complaining of health problems when they were discharged from the hospital were found.”

  Volunteer inspection, laboratory and investigation data will be transferred to the National Center for Epidemiology and Microbiology of Gamaliea for research. Thereafter, it is planned to carry out national registration of the preparation.

  Borisevich pointed out, "The current analysis data has confirmed that the necessary antibodies against the new coronavirus were detected in the body after the volunteers were injected with the vaccine. The vaccine components are safe and harmless to the human body."

  As of now, 771,546 cases have been diagnosed in Russia, of which 550,344 have been cured and 12,342 have been died.
