“The republic’s prosecutor’s office organized a check on the fact of a fire at a closed unauthorized landfill on the outskirts of the city of Karabulak with an area of 3 hectares,” the statement said.
It is specified that the audit will establish the causes and conditions of what happened, compliance with environmental and fire safety laws, as well as evaluate the activities of the agency discussing the landfill.
Earlier it was reported that a fire broke out at an unauthorized dump in the city of Karabulak, Republic of Ingushetia. To date, according to media reports, the fire has been extinguished.
